An alumnus of the National Defence Academy and a postgraduate in Nuclear Technology from BARC, he also holds degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Science from JNU. Under his leadership, PRESPL has emerged as India’s leading biomass supply chain management company, specializing in biomass fuel aggregation, densification, and bioenergy project development. PRESPL supports biomass IPPs, cogeneration plants, bio- refineries, and industrial boilers across India. He has played a pivotal role in building industry recognition for biomass energy, advocating policy support through MNRE, and attracting investments from Shell Ventures, Mitsui & Co., Neev Fund, and responsAbility. Widely respected in the biomass sector, Lt Col Ahuja continues to be a forceful voice for sustainable bioenergy solutions and industrial decarbonization.

Dr. Nupur Bahadur is the Founder & Head of NMCG-TERI CoE on Water Reuse, which is established by Ministry of Jal Shakti, Govt. of India under Namami Gange Program. She is Associate Director & Senior Fellow in the Circular Economy & Waste Management Division of TERI; She is the Chair of IWA-India Governing Member Committee; Fellow of IWA; Featured amongst 10 Indian Water Sheros. She did her Ph.D. in Chemistry from IIT Roorkee in 2005 and she is the Inventor of TERI Advanced Oxidation Technology (TADOX®) for wastewater treatment, which has been commercialized & 1st pilot demonstration in Textile CETP won IWA Project Innovation Silver Award 2024 in the category ‘Breakthrough in R&D’. She is member of several national and international Advisory/Expert Committees. With her 25 years of vast experience, she is committed to contribute to Nation Building and achieve UN SDG 6 goals towards water security in the World.

Prof. Lalit Vashista is a seasoned chemical engineer with over 38 years of experience in separation sciences, industrial wastewater treatment, and sustainable process technologies. As the Founder and CEO of Diva Envitec Pvt. Ltd., he has pioneered the development of advanced solutions for Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD), effluent remediation, and resource recovery across diverse industrial sectors. His innovations include proprietary technologies such as THERMOX, CHD-Ox, and VAPOZEM-MVR, aimed at treating complex and toxic wastewater streams. Previously, he served as Technical Director at Millipore India, leading membrane-based applications for pharma and biotech industries. A graduate of NIT Rourkela, Prof. Vashista has contributed to several expert taskforces on ETP upgrades and water reuse and is actively involved with IIChE and the Indian Environment Association. He is a frequent speaker at technical forums, advocating for sustainable industrial transformation through collaborative innovation and scalable, field-tested technologies.

Atul is a seasoned industry professional with more than two decades of experience spanning the Oil & Gas, Supply Chain, and New & Green Energy sectors. An MBA in Oil & Gas Management, Atul is a qualified electrical engineer, further enhancing his expertise with post-graduate diplomas in Environmental Management, Supply Chain Management, and Energy Management. Atul has completed a senior leadership program on “Strategies for Growth” at IIM Ahmedabad and is currently pursuing his PhD in Management. As an active member of prominent institutions such as CII, FICCI, FIPI, IFGE, IBA and WBA, Atul has participated in industry interfaces for the Global Biofuel Alliance (GBA) and the Energy Transition Forum under G20. Currently serving as the Chief Operating Officer at IndianOil Adani Ventures, Atul leads IAVL’s strategic business development, renewable energy initiatives, enterprise risk management, CSR and information technology, while also cultivating strategic partnerships for the Group. Additionally, he serves on the boards of IAVL’s affiliated entities. Atul is passionate about adding value to the Indian industry and economy by promoting ESG, practices & strategic growth planning incorporating new and green energy solutions.

Dr. Soma Mishra is an environmentalist and Assistant Professor at MIT-World Peace University, Pune, with over 12 years of experience in teaching, research, and consultancy. She holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from IIT Roorkee and has received the prestigious DAAD fellowship, working as a Visiting Scientist in Dresden, Germany. Her research expertise includes solid waste management, vermicomposting, detection of emerging contaminants, wastewater reuse, microplastics, and low-cost water treatment for rural communities. She has worked on European Commission-funded projects related to riverbank filtration and previously served in academic and consulting roles across India. Beyond academia, Dr. Mishra advises NGOs such as ECA and Jeevitnadi, contributes to Pune’s Carbon Neutrality Cell, and actively supports rural water access and women’s entrepreneurship. She is also a reviewer for Science of the Total Environment. Her work bridges sustainable environmental practices with community development and public health.
